Extensions that disappear into your own hair are decided before a single weft is placed. Every install here starts with the color match, and the person doing it is a colorist first: extension hair is blended root to end, including any highlights or gray, against your actual color the way our balayage is painted to your base. Hair matched off a swatch ring is matched to the average of your color. Yours is matched to your color.
The method is hand-woven. A small braid is built flat against the scalp and the weft is stitched to it with thread. There is no adhesive in the track itself, so nothing peels, slides or shows as your hair grows, and the track sits flat enough to wear a high ponytail. It is the house standard in miniature: the same precision Martial Vivot built his Manhattan grooming name on, applied to length and density rather than a cut.

Extensions are not fit-and-forget, and we would rather say so before you book than after. The at-home routine is small: brush before you wash, use a sulfate-free shampoo, and never sleep in wet hair. The one non-negotiable is the braided base, which has to be dried fully after every wash. A base left damp is the single thing that shortens the life of an install. Most guests settle into the routine within a week; it adds about five minutes a day.
There is also the salon side. A woven install moves with your growth, so it returns to the chair every eight to ten weeks for a move-up: the weft is unbraided, the braid is rebuilt at the root, and the weft is restitched. The hair itself is kept, not replaced, and well cared for it carries through several installs. Your specialist sets the exact schedule at the install, and removal is always done here, never at home.
Tape-in extensions are bonded flat to the scalp with adhesive. As the hair grows the tape travels down and can show. A woven extension is stitched to a small braided base with no adhesive, so nothing peels or shows, and it holds longer between moves.
Often yes, and weaving is usually the better method for it. Fine hair struggles to hide an adhesive strip, whereas a woven base can be kept small. It is the first thing we assess, because the honest answer is sometimes no.
We have fitted extensions for clients going through hair loss, including after medical treatment. It depends entirely on the scalp and the remaining hair, so it starts with a consultation rather than a booking.
Price is set at the consultation, because it depends on length, how much hair is needed and the method that suits you. We would rather quote accurately in person than publish a number that is wrong for your hair.
