Boynton Beach & Red Market
Boynton Beach is seven miles south of us — south of Lake Worth Beach, and a shorter run than Delray. Straight north on US-1, or up I-95 to Southern and a few minutes west, lands you at 3008 South Dixie Highway with parking on site.
Boynton has salons of its own, so the people who come up US-1 are usually chasing a specific color result rather than convenience. Freehand painting is the difference — balayage with no hard line at the root, so the grow-out stays soft for three or four months instead of showing a stripe at four weeks. In a beach town where hair lives outdoors most of the year, that is the difference between color that looks deliberate and color that looks done.
Balayage is $500 — one all-inclusive price, with the gloss and treatment included rather than added on afterwards. Keratin smoothing is $350. For men there is a dedicated grooming room rather than a chair in the corner, from $140.
