Jupiter & Red Market
Jupiter is a straight thirty-minute run south on I-95 to Southern Boulevard, then a few minutes to 3008 South Dixie Highway. It is the longest drive of any catchment we serve, and we would rather be honest about that than pretend otherwise: people make it for colour work, not for a quick trim.
What Jupiter hair has in common is exposure. Between the beach, the boat and the sun, colour here gets bleached, dried and pushed brassy faster than it does inland. Freehand painting helps because the lightening sits where the sun would naturally take it anyway — so as the sea and the summer do their work, the colour moves with the design instead of fighting it. A gloss at the finish keeps the tone honest for longer.
Balayage is $500 flat with the gloss and treatment included, which for hair that lives outdoors usually works out better value than a cheaper service that needs correcting by August.

- It is about thirty minutes on I-95, and it is a real drive. Most Jupiter guests come for colour rather than a cut — a balayage appointment runs a few hours anyway, so the journey is a smaller part of the day than it sounds.
- How do you stop beach hair going brassy?
- Tone and technique. Painting freehand puts the lift where the sun already works, and a gloss at the finish controls the underlying warmth. We will also tell you honestly which at-home products actually help and which are marketing.
