Palm Beach Gardens & Red Market
From PGA Boulevard it is a twenty-minute run south on I-95 to Southern, or a slightly slower but simpler drive down US-1. We are at 3008 South Dixie Highway in the south end of West Palm Beach, with parking on site.
Palm Beach Gardens has plenty of salons of its own, so nobody drives down here by accident. What brings people is usually colour that has stopped behaving — a blonde that has gone brassy, highlights that have built up into stripes over several years, or a grow-out line that arrives four weeks after every appointment. Hand-painted balayage solves the last of those by design: with no hard line at the root, the gap between visits stretches to three or four months.
The other draw is the men’s side. Martial Vivot built his name in Manhattan on men’s cutting specifically, and this salon has a dedicated grooming room rather than a chair in the corner — which is rarer in this county than it should be.
Questions
- Is it worth driving down from Palm Beach Gardens?
- For a routine trim, probably not — the Gardens has good options closer. For colour that needs correcting, or for a cut from a Paris-trained cutter, that is what most of our Gardens guests come for.
- How much is balayage?
- Balayage is $500 flat, with the gloss and treatment included rather than added on afterwards. Other colour services run from around $300. Every colour appointment starts with a consultation.
